Eric's Walking Video!!!!

Eric started walking on Sunday April 25, 2010 really late at night...so he was kinda crazy and daring. He was so excited. You can kind of see in the video how as he takes off he has a look of surprise and then he smiles really big. He didn't get hurt from the fall at the end by the way. This is the legitimate first time he walked. :)

For the next couple days he would only walk when he was in a certain mood. He also got really sad whenever he touched something because he would grab onto it and not want to let go by himself. He would always need us to help him push off. It was really cute.

This is Eric a couple days later.....he LOVES walking. It's like a new trick. He would laugh and giggle the entire time. In this video he is still doing the hands in the air thing because we would hold his hands to help him walk before.

Now that it's been a couple of months, he's a pro walker. He does not like to be in shopping carts or strollers or anything. The other day we went on a pretty long walk and he really keeps up well unless he sees something distracting like rocks or sticks or bark.... He's really our fun little toddler now.
